Aston Martin Bulldog Concept

Presenting the 'Bulldog Concept' by Aston Martin and man it looks awesome. Made back in 1980 still if it comes in production today it will prove to be a big seller. I loved its head lamps opening style, one of its kind.
Performing figures which were given for it were astounishing in 1980. It was supposed to have a 5.7litre twin turbo V8 producing 600bhp and a hell torque of 633.7Nm. Top speed was limited to 198.8m/h (320km/h) just because of unreliable suspension. It had simple Rack & Pinion suspension even then it used to do dash from knot to 60m/h in 5.1 seconds.

Brabus E V12 Coupe

What do you think that what you've just seen? a normal freakin' 2-door coupe? if yes then you be wrong... What you've just seen is the fastest Gran Tourismo making its debut at Geneva Autoshow and who else apart from BRABUS can make such a master piece? After making fastest SUV then making the fastest convertible and now making the fastest Gran Tourismo car ever goin' straight upto 370km/h (230m/h).
What BRABUS do is that it takes a standard car, opens its bonnet and throw almost everything from it away... Only cylinder block remains and even that is modified and when i said modified it means everything is 'new & bigger' e.g; standard car has 5.5litres, this has 6.3litres. Just like BRABUS E V12 SEDAN released a few months ago they have used same engine in this behemoth (Brabus SV12 R BiTurbo 800) which cranks out 800 horses and mindbottling 1,420Nm of torque...
The statistics of this car are also mind bottling 0-100km/h in 3.7seconds, 0-200km/h in 9.9seconds, and 0-300 in 23.9seconds.
Another new thing in it is the height adjustment of the car which was absent in previous brabus cars... Height of E V12 Coupe can be varied by 1.4inches.

Ferrari 599 GTB HY-KERS Concept

Well in the 2009 F1 season there were only 3 teams(Ferrari, McLaren and Renault) which used the KERS system, a system which provides variable power boost for a definite interval of time using a high voltage source unit. McLaren is only producing one supercar at the moment while renault make such junkies for roads that nobody can bother to put KERS in it but what about ferrari? well i think by now you would have guessed what lies ahead. Yes you're write its the same old 599 with a KERS system in it which gives additional 100hp on just pressing a button...
This master piece of engineering will be made public on 80th Geneva Autoshow.
This is what the fuss is all about, KERS system under the engine of 599....

Hamann Tycoon EVO M

Just like other tuning companies here we have Hamann with its new tuned & souped up X6 called Tycoon EVO M and man it goes like a tycoon going all the way upto 300km/h. Top speed of original one was limited to 250km/h. Thanks to a 115 hp increase and an increase of 100Nm in torque. Other modifications include a brand new stainless steel exhaust with metallic catalysers. New front and rear bumpers with four striking LEDs in the front bumper. A spoiler at the rear end to increase downthrust. Newly designed side skirts plus specially made rims of composite material which help in normalizing the weight distribution.
I love such dual center exhaust tail pipes still they are nothing in front of pagani zonda's exhaust tail pipes... :D
Overall this car is rubbish according to top gear, it can't be used as an SUV cuz it can't off roading and it can't be used as a sedan because of its ride height. Then it has very little head roam in the back seats because of roof styling plus due to smaller rear windscreen you get very little visibility so its not as practical car or SUV or whatever it is....

Alfa Romeos at Geneva

After absence of almost 2 years from international scene, Alfa Romeo is back! Collaboration of Alfa Romeo & Pininfarina is known for a very long time and this time again they have joined hands to make this master piece. Its called '2uettottanta' and it is basically a simple 2-seater convertiable. Problem is that it is just a concept and if it ever comes in production then it is said to be having a turbocharged 1.75litre engine. This is one of the two concept cars which Alfa Romeo is going to present at Geneva Auto show.
Before this i used to think that there is no car in styling which can beat Breckland Beira in simple 2-seater convertiable category but Alfa Romeo did it... I've fallen totally to it. Beira is nothing in front of this...
And there is the second concept car of Alfa Romeo going to make its debut at Geneva Auto Show.
Its called 'Pandion' and well just look at it, it looks alienatic literally. Powered by a 4.7 Litre 450 CV 8-cylinder Alfa Romeo engine.
At the rear end it just looks like an alien's car with a V sign on the rear bumper that stretches upto the roof of the car and with alienatic LED rear lights...
One of the striking feature is the opening of doors...Virtually hinged around the axis of the rear wheel, the Alfa Romeo Pandion Concept doors open by rotating backwards, ending up a perfect 90 degrees above the center of the rear wheel, lifting up the entire body side of the vehicle, from the front fender to the rear fender. When fully open they are more than 3.6 metres high. This spectacular solution is design mainly for glamour, bringing back the "wow" factor to today's lackluster automotive industry.

2011 Nissan Micra

2005  Nissan Micra and just look at it, from every angle this car looks desperate...
Well you just saw the nissan micra also known as nissan MARCH in Pakistan. Its hidious... Everytime somebody looks at it he thinks "nah! i think i need to go to bathroom." Top gear called it to be the worst car in the automotive history but still nissan didn't give up and made a new one to hit the roads in 2011 and i've got to say its just astounishing. They have totally restylled it and it does look like a car at least... Just like many other cars this new one is also going to make its first proper appearance to the public at 80th Geneva Auto show.

Well this car has been equipped with loads of equipment compared to its price. In terms of engine there are only two options, both are actually nissan's all-new HR12 1.2Litres 3-cylinder petrol engines. Base model produces 59kW and torque is rated at 108Nm while the other model have supercharged 1.2litre direct injection engine producing 72kW and max torque of 142Nm.
The new Nissan Micra is available with reversing sensors and a new 'parking space measurement' (PSM) device with three skill levels (amateur, normal and expert) to lessen the burden of parking in tight spaces - a unique feature in this segment, and likely to be a popular innovation in Europe where 'touch parking' is a way of life.

It also offers an Intelligent Key, Nissan Connect, Nissan's accessible touch-screen combined audio and satellite navigation system, glass roof, automatic wipers, speed sensitive volume on the audio, a push button start-stop system in addition to a drive computer which supplies drivers with real time fuel economy information, cruising range and outside temperature. On the security side, the car is also fitted with a speed-sensitive automatic door locking system.

2010 Toyota Auris

Big brother of toyota yaris is here called auris and wow! its awesome. See the pics man.
Auris is going to be presented at 80th Geneve auto show starting from 4th of this month...
Launched back in 2007 to compete with the european cars this car has built a solid reputation among other cars in a very short span of time.
Available with a full hybrid plus three petrol engines and three diesel engines, this toyota Auris offers its customers a very comprehensive range in the C-segment of european cars. To save the polar bears, toyota has done alot of work in reducing the CO2 emissions and it has been decreased from 152g/km to 142g/km. The model with hybrid engine produces as low as only 89g/km. Toyota is planning to sell 101,000 units in 2010 and around 130,000 in 2011.
The Toyota Auris will be the first Toyota to comply with Euro 5 emission standards across the entire European model range by July 2010.

Coming to the engines first in the petrol engines is the 1.33litre Dual VVT-i engine which produces 99hp with a max torque of 128Nm at 3800rpm. Fully equipped comes with another new addition called start-stop technology (optional). This innovative system automatically switches off the engine when the vehicle is stopped. The world's first permanently engaged ring gear mechanism allows for automatic engine restart within half a second when the clutch is lifted, with significant reductions in engine start noise and seat vibration levels.
If this car comes to Pakistan then i think it will prove to be a killer of vitz...and its HSD model will be a killer of platz...
The other two petrol engines have displacements of 1.6L and 1.8L, the former produces 132 hp with max torque at 4400revs which is 160Nm and the latter produces 147 hp with a peak torque of 180Nm at 4000revs. CO2 emissions are 152g/km and 155g/km.
Models having diesel engines with their specs are following.
1.4 D-4D engine producing 90 hp and 205Nm torque also equipped with Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).
2.0 D-4D engine producing 126 hp & 310Nm torque.
2.2 D-4D turbocharged engine producing 177 hp & 400Nm torque with toyota's Diesel-Clean Advanced Technology (D-CAT). (thats hell man!)
I liked its speedometer alot.
