the_SHIFT brings you the latest story of today. There has been an accident at Bahria Town Phase 8 during drag races competition organized by PTCL. Four people got killed in the incident including the driver of the car. All we know at the moment is that it was the last race of the day in which one car went out of control of the driver and hit the footpath later on hitting the spectators.
PTCL did a great job by bringing us such an event for the 3rd consecutive year but this event would have got a lot of admittance if there had been proper arrangements for the safety of spectators. If such an event takes place again then we urge from government and sponsors to float in the money to increase the safety standards. I'll try to bring the latest update from the issue asap.
